National Observatory of Ahtens

The National Observatory of Athens is the oldest research institution in Greece, founded in 1842. It is responsible for conducting astronomical and geophysical research, as well as providing education and outreach to the public. The observatory is home to several historical telescopes and instruments. Theofanis Matsopoulos collaborates with the National Observatory of Athens (NOA) producing documentaries and videos for the Visitor Center and for other outreach activities. Also, he takes photographs of various events and astronomical images using its scientific instruments.
